PUNTA GORDA, FL (October 14, 2013) – During Charlotte High School’s October 11th win against American Senior High School, one player walked away a star.
According to Coach Binky Waldrop, Senior Trent White played an outstanding game. He had six tackles and three catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Because of this, he was named “ER Extra Player of the Game.”
Each home game of the season, Charlotte Regional names one Charlotte High football player as the “ER Extra Player of the Game.” “Since Charlotte High football is known for its tradition, we thought it would be nice to continue this tradition we started four years ago,” said José Morillo, CEO of Charlotte Regional Medical Center. “After each home game, we award one player the ‘ER Extra Player of the Game’ trophy to congratulate him for his ‘extra great’ contribution to the team during that game.”
Congratulations to Tarpon Safety/Receiver, Trent White (#7), “ER Extra’s Player of the Game” for October 11, 2013!
