Tarpon Quarterback Brennan McGill Earns Award for Performance in August 23 Game

PUNTA GORDA, FL (August 26, 2013) – The August 23rd Charlotte High School (CHS) game against Bayshore High School may not have been a show-stopper, but CHS still had stand-out players.

According to Coach Binky Waldrop, Senior Brennan McGill played an outstanding game, making four touchdowns and passing for 240 yards.  Because of this, McGill was named “ER Extra Player of the Game.”

Each home game of the season, Charlotte Regional names one Charlotte High football player as the “ER Extra Player of the Game.” “Since Charlotte High football is known for its tradition, we thought it would be nice to continue this tradition we started four years ago,” said José Morillo, CEO of Charlotte Regional Medical Center. “After each home game, we award one player the ‘ER Extra Player of the Game’ trophy to congratulate him for his ‘extra great’ contribution to the team during that game.”

Congratulations to Tarpon Quarterback, Brennan McGill, “ER Extra’s Player of the Game” for August 23, 2013!
