PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (March 2, 2016) – Southwest Florida Heart Center at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte welcomes the addition of Stanley Kokocki, M.D. to the office of Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery South (F.A.C.T. Surgery South). The office is located at 2380 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte, and he will begin seeing patients March 7.
Dr. Kokocki is triple board certified in general, thoracic and cardiac-vascular-thoracic surgeries. With 18 years of experience practicing in Chicago and Tampa, Dr. Kokocki specializes in lung and esophagus surgery, valve repair and replacement procedures, coronary artery bypass grafting, aneurysm, the treatment of atrial fibrillation and carotid surgery.
Dr. Kokocki received his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University, masters degree from DePaul University in Chicago, and completed his medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada. He has written multiple, reviewed journal articles and has participated in a number of device trials, and focuses on patient safety issues and quality improvement initiatives.
