PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2014) – Port Charlotte High School’s junior defensive end Berno “DeeJay” St. Pierre was selected as the Bayfront Health Port Charlotte Player of the Game for the Oct. 10 game versus North Port High School.
St. Pierre had two sacks, five tackles and one forced fumble in the Pirates’ 53-13 win over the Bobcats.
St. Pierre is looking forward to another year of football at PCHS, then hopes to attend the University of South Florida.
Head coach Jordan Ingman said: “DeeJay has come a long way this season and played with great effort on Friday. He had a tremendous game.”
Each home game of the season Bayfront Health Port Charlotte awards a trophy to one Port Charlotte High School football player as the Player of the Game, as selected by coaches.
