Peace River Heart Institute and Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery Align to Provide Advanced Cardiovascular Services to the Community
The alignment with Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery, Tampa’s leading cardiothoracic group will enhance Peace River Regional’s comprehensive cardiovascular services.
Port Charlotte, FL (June 12, 2013) — Peace River Heart Institute continues its commitment to this community by constantly adding new services and surgeons to our already outstanding team. As a part of this commitment, on July 1, Peace River Regional Medical Center will officially launch their alignment with Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery advancing heart surgery care in Southwest Florida.
“This alignment was created to enhance Peace River's comprehensive cardiovascular services. For our patients, this means they will receive the highest quality of cardiac care available close to home,” states Richard Satcher, Peace River Regional Medical Center's CEO.
Dr. Christiano Caldeira, Dr. Cristiano Faber and Dr. Wing Yeen of Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery will be providing full-time surgical coverage for the Peace River Heart Institute from their new satellite office in Port Charlotte.
