Mental Health Symposium on Suicide Awareness Nov. 11

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2014) – Riverside Behavioral Center at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda is hosting the mental health symposium “Our Community and Suicide Awareness” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Bayfront Health Punta Gorda Medical Office Plaza, 4th Floor Conference Room, 713 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda.

Mental health has emerged as a hot topic nationwide. At this free educational event, a panel will provide information on suicide awareness as it relates to our local community. Panelists will present powerful insights about the signs and symptoms of depression, identify the warning signs of suicide, and discuss the benefits of seeking help and barriers faced.

The scheduled panel members are:
