ER Extra Player of the Game from Charlotte High

Punta Gorda, FL (September 19, 2012) - The September 14th Charlotte High School varsity football game against Hialeah High School didn’t boast of any single standout player of the game, according to Coach Binky Waldrop.

Rather, the antics of the entire offensive line proved a crucial factor in the tight game. Not only do the Tarpons have the #3 leading rusher in the state of Florida, but the entire offensive line played well together. Because of this, they were named “ER Extra Players of the Game.”

Each home game of the season, Charlotte Regional will name a Charlotte High football player as the “ER Extra Player of the Game.”

“Since Charlotte High football is known for its tradition, we thought it would be nice to continue this tradition we started three years ago,” said José Morillo, CEO of Charlotte Regional Medical Center.
“After each home game, we award an ‘ER Extra Player of the Game’ trophy to congratulate the team member for his ‘extra great’ contribution to the team during that game.”

Congratulations to the Tarpon offensive line – Iggy Fernandez, Zach Watson, Kenneth Haynes, Chris McGill, Jack Norman, and Forrest Palmore -  “ER Extra’s Players of the Game” for September 14, 2012!   “ER Extra” at Charlotte Regional gives patients the extra fast, extra easy, and extra great care they deserve.
