Punta Gorda, FL (September 27, 2012) - The September 21st Tarpon Charlotte High School game against Venice High School was an exciting win for the Tarpons.
According to Coach Binky Waldrop, Junior Dwight Reynolds was a crucial factor in this win, having three catches, a touchdown, and seven tackles on defense. Because of this, Reynolds was named “ER Extra Player of the Game.” Each home game of the season, Charlotte Regional will name one Charlotte High football player as the “ER Extra Player of the Game.”
“Since Charlotte High football is known for its tradition, we thought it would be nice to continue this tradition we started three years ago,” said José Morillo, CEO of Charlotte Regional Medical Center. “After each home game, we award one player the ‘ER Extra Player of the Game’ trophy to congratulate him for his ‘extra great’ contribution to the team during that game.”
Congratulations to Tarpon Wide Receiver and Corner, Dwight Reynolds, “ER Extra’s Player of the Game” for September 21, 2012!
